12/08/2013, thousands of fans, automotive enthusiasts, people from all background and myself gathered at Paul Walker’s and Roger Rodas’ crash site to show our love, our support and mostly our respect to two great men who had unfortunately lost their lives. I can’t say much about Roger Rodas himself, but even though I didn’t know who you were until this happened, I know that you are a great father, a great husband and most of all a great man. Paul Walker, you were the inspiration for so many kids in my generation and few generations before me as well. You were what gave the tuner scene a name, something to look forward to, something to build together as a community, something to watch grow together as a community, something that we all love and share. We gathered here on the 8th of December in 2013 to remember all those times you gave us inspirations through your movies, and most of all through your actions as a human being. You were not the normal Hollywood celebrity we see all flossing around, you were a role model for society, always helping those in need without a second thought and for that I deeply respect you.
One of the hardest part to stay calm was when Paul Walker’s father went up to sign the trailer. As he went up there, he was struggling to find the right words to write for his son. It literally broke my heart and many others watching. Tears were filling my eyes and I couldn’t help but cry, for someone I have never met. It felt like I had lost a great friend, someone that I knew for so long. Thats how big of an impact Paul Walker had on many people’s lives. It was such an overwhelming atmosphere at the site, you couldn’t help but try to keep yourself from tearing up.
